Our Digital Studio
Studio D   uses multiple Mac and Windows based recording platforms, tied in with a Roland VSR 880

digital 8, SMPTE sync, 24 Channel mix, 80 Ch midi, DAT mixdown, CD & mini disk mastering, 16 bit samples, a Marshall condensor mic, digital sound modules, and digital FX. But it's not just a digital world....we also use an Analog Fostex R8 8track reel to reel, and own a Roland SH1000 monophonic synth..one of the first Roland synthesizers to arrive in Canada! Equipment includes: a Mac G5 dual proc, Fostex, Roland, Yamaha, E-Mu systems, Ensoniq, Sony, Alesis, Spirit by Soundcraft, Korg and Marshall.

You have to hear the quality of our digital recording. It isn't just the equipment, but the engineering and the way Daryle Dean produces the music. The following samples, are taken from some of the albums and demos made at   Studio D. From Heavy Metal, to New Country, we can give you the sound quality to make heads turn. (and you don't need a record deal to afford it)

Our Custom Music for TV / Radio / Multi-Media (jingles)

Some of best music, created in this studio, are the jingles. You know the music you hear when you watch TV, or behind the Radio commercials, or on your CD rom games, and programs.

We write custom music for TV, Radio, & Multi-Media. Here are a few samples of some of our work. Maybe you've heard them before?

Our rates vary, but they range from $100 per tune for each 15 sec. of music, to $1000 per piece, depending on if you want exclusive rights of use, or can use previously "shared" music. Shared music, is the most reasonable, but may be used by many customers. Thus, the cost is lower.

We can edit any tune for length, looping, instruments....you name it.

All can be re-recorded to your specs.
When purchased, the music will be digital, stereo, and mp3/CD quality.

DARYLE DEAN Warkentin owner of Studio D. Daryle is an Audio Engineer, Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist, and Published Writer. In the 80's Daryle played drums with such artists as Tad Campbell of 'IDLE EYES', and Rick Lintlop of the 'NEW REGIME'. He also played guitar for the heavy metal band ' FULL BLAST ', and keyboards with the Vancouver based, CFMI 101 'Home Grown 89' contest winning Band 'RUMOUR HAS IT '.
